Resources

I thought it would be helpful to make a page where you can find all the products I use, mention and recommend. I will add new products to it from time to time as I find more products that I use and love.

Disclosure: Please know that some of the links below are affiliate links, and should you chose to make a purchase based on any of my recommendations, I will earn a commission, at no addition cost to you. Please understand I only recommend products that I use and totally believe in. I will tell you the what I love about the product and also share any problems (if there are any) and how to address them. I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, and not because of the commission. Please do not feel compelled to buy any of these products unless you feel that they will help you achieve your goals.

MISTO: Olive Oil sprayer is a must for your healthy kitchen, simply because it allows you to control what you use to prime your pans for cooking, and how much product you use. It is refillable, non-aerosol, with no chemicals or propellants. The nozzle gives you even spray.

Uses - Use any kind of oil for priming frying, sauce or roasting pans.
Or use vinegar or fruit juice* to spritz on salads as a low-calorie dressing

*make sure to use a fine strainer to remove pulp so as not to clog the straw.

How to Clean – the internal siphon straw is very fine and will need to be cleaned from time to time. To clean, spray into a trash can until all the air pressure has evened out, then unscrew the cap from the bottle. Heat a few cups of water to very hot (but not boiling) temperature and submerge the uptake tube in the water. You may want to empty out the bottle and rinse it as well. Then fill it with some warm water, replace the top, and pump to pressurize, and spray as long as it takes to clear out the clog until you get an even mist pattern. DO NOT use soap in the spray nozzle & straw section of the sprayer. The hot water should clear out any clogs our of the uptake tube and the spray/pump action should force out any clogs in the straw.
