Yes, I am a real person. I work. And get tired. Crazy talk, I know. But I will have to blog earlier on Saturdays next week, before I start working.
One thing I DO want to share though, although completely unrelated to health & wellness, I want to show you my project! As many of my loyal readers know, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Seattle Seahawks. You may also know that I am a pretty frugal person ( my $100 monthly food budget... wink wink, nudge, nudge). I have been trying to NOT spend money a lot lately, but one thing I do really want is a Russell Wilson Seahawks Jersey!
I want one SO BAD, but they cost about $95 smackers, and for someone like me who hasn't EVER spent $95 on any one piece of clothing (except maybe my wedding dress and a prom dress or two in high school), it's just not going to happen. I couldn't stomach it! So... I found this 12th man jersey at the Goodwill pound store (which I also rant and rave about and LOVE so much!) and it cost about $1, but it was size XL, and I'm a Medium (maybe a Small on good days) so as-is, it wouldn't fit me (unless I was trying to resemble a a little tent post in a giant tent).
So, the same day I went to the sporting goods store and saw the GINORMOUS price tag on my beloved jersey, I went home, raided my husband's closet (I had given the jersey to him, but he has a nice new one of his own that he bought last season, so I knew he wouldn't ever wear it) and got out my sewing machine, a pair of scissors and got to work.
Here is the before and after :)
