

Leave full glasses of water around the house. If you have a hard time drinking enough water, leave yourselves little reminders, just like little Beau. Strategically set one on the counter in your kitchen, one in your office space, living room or wherever you spend a lot of time, one in the bathroom, and one next to your bed. These will be little reminders to drink more water, and when you have a glass right next to you, you won't have any excuse not to take a drink. When you finish them, you can take the empty ones and set them next to the sink in the kitchen, so you have a running tally of how much water you are drinking per day. It's like a little game.
In the end, her quirky habit ends up saving the day. Maybe it won't save you from aliens, but it WILL save your from becoming dehydrated. So here's a toast to your better health! Hydrate or DIE!
EXERCISE
Insanity - Insane Abs! It is VERY well named! The best part about it, is that you do not do a single crunch! There is upright work, and floor work, and BOTH are insanely challenging. I didn't think I was going to be able to walk afterwards, and I also thought I might pass out near the end, and wake up on the floor an hour later!
FOOD
Breakfast: apple-pie oatmeal and a half cup of home made canned pears
Snack: a dove chocolate bar! I know it's candy, but it's allowed within my DCI
Lunch: Quinoa and black bean chili
Snack: a baked apple and a Luna bar
