Day 37: Eating Ice Cream and your DCI

If you are anything like me, you'll know that sometimes life can be a bit boring. Like today. I worked, I can home, worked out, went to youth group (I am a leader). Yes, I indulged in a little ice cream because they had it available at youth group, but it fit into my DCI, so I didn't break the calorie bank.

In order to live a reasonable life-style, on occasion you can indulge in things like ice cream, as long as you have allowed for it in your Daily Caloric Intake. Just know that “indulgences” or things like ice-cream are calorie-heavy and so you will have to decide if it's worth it – worth the calories, when you could eat a small amount of calorie-dense food and still feel hungry or eat nutrient-dense food (and more of it) and feel fuller for the same calories.

In the near future, I will be showing you lower-calorie sweetie options for a healthier lifestyle. I can't lie- I LOVE sweets! So I will definitely show you what I make and do.

Sorry it's a short one today! Sorry, my life is boring!

*I have to admit, as a last-minute add-on, I totally choked tonight after writing this! Yup, I had 2 HBE (trying to be healthy), then I really choked, and had 2 1/2 graham crackers, and then a whole pear! Ahhh! That's like 400 calories right before BED! Ahhh! I know you may be thinking, whoa there speed-racer, that's not bad at all! I mean it's not like you ate a whole tub of ice cream or a whole pizza, but my point is that I ate unnecessary calories right before bed, and that means... those calories will be stored as FAT! BOO!

Feel free to comment - and scold me! :(
Thanks for reading all!!
